POSITION SUMMARYDiono, a leading juvenile products manufacturer based in Sumner, Washington is looking for a Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join our team. This is a full-time on-site day-shift position reporting to the Warehouse Manager. This role plays a central part of our warehouse / operations shipping process and is in a warehouse setting. As a Shipping Clerk you will be responsible for handling products leaving the warehouse, this will include creating shipping labels and documents, ability to use online shipping portals, pulling and packing items from shelves, scheduling pickups, and inventory control, as well as other essential responsibilities noted below. Computer and Microsoft Office use a must. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assure product is shipped and packed to meet customer specifications in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Communicate with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and others, in order to meet customer / company needs.
  • Allocate and ship product through our ERP program, SAP, in a timely manner
  • Utilize Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, and On Trac.
  • Informed and well-versed in shipments to Big Box accounts such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, BuyBuy Baby, etc.
  • Pick orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Inventory Cycle Counting
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • This role could require overtime as needed to achieve business goals.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 1-year related experience and / or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledgeable with international and domestic shipping standards and regulations.
  • Prior work experience with all parcel carriers (UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, and OnTrac) with the ability to navigate within their websites and shipping software.
  • Good attendance habits.
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures and report all unsafe activities to manager and / or Human Resources.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Experience in Excel
  • Prior knowledge with ERP experience, SAP preferred
