Job DetailsLevel Experienced Job Location Rifle, CO - Rifle, CO Position Type Full Time Job Category Supply Chain Description Job Description Warehouse Site Manager Department: Procurement Job Status: Full Time FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Supply Chain Manager Grade/Level: Manager Amount of Travel Required: 10% Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8-hour workday) Positions Supervised: Warehouse Personnel POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Site Manager is responsible for creating and enforcing work schedules, inspecting equipment, managing orders, and resolving worker conflicts. Acting as a liaison between management and staff, the position ensures effective communication and addresses concerns. Key tasks include overseeing stock conditions, documentation, inventory accuracy, proper storage, and labeling, planning efficient warehouse layouts, ensuring timely delivery of items, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word may. )
  • Creates & enforces work schedules for subordinates to increase efficiency within the department.
  • Consistently inspects all work equipment to identify shortages and damage and relates findings to management for quick resolution to enable smooth flow of operations.
  • Place orders for new equipment as directed by management and inspect it upon delivery to ensure that it is of good quality and in the right quantity.
  • Steps in to resolve conflicts that may arise between workers on site and exhibit a good sense of judgment to ensure that parties involved are treated fairly without bias. Works as the middleman between management and workers to facilitate good communication and air complaints from both parties and ensure that all issues are sorted out.
  • Checks all outgoing stocks to ensure that they are in good condition and make sure that all documents are accurately signed for proper documentation.
  • Ensures that stock inventory is carried out in a timely manner and that it is in line with the stock balance to avoid mix-up.
  • Ensures the proper storage of items or goods stored in the warehouse. Reserve space allocation for property and items or goods
  • Ensures that labels for goods are updated and accurate and that all goods and properties are stored in the correct location.
  • Plans warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity. Ensures that requested goods are delivered to the appropriate requester on time.
  • Properly identifies goods or items and corrects discrepancies related to their quality, nomenclature, identification, or part numbers. Organizes and ensures the warehouse is always accessible and a safe work area. Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Successfully pass a background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • Valid U.S Driver's License
  • Ability to Travel
  • Daily in-person, predictable attendance
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
  • College Degree in Supply Chain Logistics, Business Management, or related field, or
  • High School diploma; and 7-10 years' warehouse management experience

Physical requirements may include sitting or long periods, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling and lifting objects up to 49lbs. Work hours may include or include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
