As a Warehouse Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling equipment throughout North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be a competitive sales professional with a hunter mentality and strong project management skills, with a focus of maximizing sales in their assigned territory.
Key Job Duties Include
- Prospect New Business within defined sales territory.
- Responsible for the sales of non-serialized warehouse equipment: pallet rack systems, shelving, modular offices, mezzanine, conveyors, dock equipment, carts, bins, and other products found in a warehouse environment.
- Identify, meet, and develop a rapport with companies to ensure purchasing.
- Work with other G&W Equipment team members and departments.
- Analyze sales territory to determine where G&W Equipment product sales are needed and initiate action to improve market share within defined sales territory.
- Work closely with Regional Sales Manager on territory management and account planning.
- Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities.
- Create business plans that are customized by customer account to ensure customer and profit fulfillment.
Requirements
- Outstanding sales and customer relationship-building skills.
- Minimum of three (3) year outside sales experience in a similar or related industry with a focus on building a successful sales territory.
- Experience selling warehouse solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Understanding of basic financial merchandising.
- General understanding of the sales CRM system
- High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple projects with multiple customers
- Experience cold calling and building relationships by phone and email to generate sales opportunities.
