Warehouse Sorter - Staffmark : Job Details

Staffmark is seeking Warehouse Sorters to join our fast-paced distribution center in Lewis Center, OH! This entry-level, part-time role is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are eager to develop their professional skills. • Pay: $19 per hour
• Shifts Available: Start time at 2:00 AM, with shifts typically ending around 7:00 AM.
• Schedule: 3-4 days per week, with availability to work either Saturday or Sunday.

As a Warehouse Sorter, you'll help ensure the smooth operation of the distribution center by receiving freight, breaking down pallets, scanning and sorting boxes by route, loading vehicles, and directing traffic. You'll work closely with the Delivery Station Supervisor to complete all tasks safely and efficiently. Essential Duties:

• Safely receive and sort freight with a team
• Direct incoming freight to the correct destination
• Communicate delays or issues to the Sort Supervisor
• Participate in pre-sort meetings and work toward safety and productivity goals
• Contribute to safety, quality, and on-time delivery targets
• Use internal systems for operations
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed
• Follow all safety, GMP, and SQF policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Comfortable using computers and scanning devices
• Team-oriented and safety-focused
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Ability to stand, walk, crouch, pull, and push for 10-12 hours
• Comfortable operating manual and electric pallet jacks (training provided)
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and productivity
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic math
• Specific vision abilities (close and peripheral vision) required
