The Warehouse Specialist II will coordinate, plan, and execute warehouse operation enhancing distribution processes, focusing on optimizing the flow from receiving to shipping. As a critical driver in warehouse operations, this role involves advanced logistics coordination, operational problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.What you'll be doing
  • Advanced Logistics Coordination: Optimize the scheduling and coordination of outbound shipments, working closely with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Order Fulfillment Excellence: Streamline order processing and fulfillment, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and meeting customer delivery expectations. Tackle complex orders and manage exceptions with proactive solutions.
  • Shipping Leadership: Enhance shipping operations, supporting best practices for speed and accuracy. Lead initiatives to minimize errors and improve throughput.
  • Safety and Compliance Focus: Spearhead safety initiatives in the warehouse, ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to regulatory compliance, including proper handling and storage of materials.
  • Operational Improvement Projects: Identify and lead projects to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance the overall performance of warehouse activities.
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Serve as a key resource for Warehouse Specialist I, providing guidance, support, and training to elevate team capabilities.
  • Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to the table
  • High school diploma required, and 5+ years related experience in a warehouse distribution setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of logistics and distribution software tools, including SAP and shipping software.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
