We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is skilled in performing a multitude of warehouse functions in a team-oriented, world class production environment. Starting pay for this role is $19.58 an hour 1st shift hours are 6:00am-2:30pm
Summary: This is a highly visible position that requires energy and a positive approach with your process partners. This position must own the efficiency of shipping, receiving and warehousing management. Emphasized will be delivering on time shipments, warehouse organization and cleanliness, FIFO inventory management, and effectively managing the Cycle Count Program. Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Warehouse Specialist works under moderate supervision and will be responsible to provide backup to the Shipping Supervisor as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Cycle Counting Program
Deliver on the companies On Time Shipments targets
Load and unload shipments with a forklift
Place received materials in proper storing locations
Stock production lines with raw material
Clear production lines of finished goods
Shrink wrap or band finished goods for shipment or storing
General housekeeping of shipping area
General housekeeping of the Warehouse locations
Physical Inventory participation
Other duties as assigned
Additional Duties and Responsibilities when serving as backup for the Logistic Supervisor
Prepare pick lists for the day's shipments
Receive raw materials into the ERP system
Create & print pallets ID labels for received items
Create transfer journals in the ERP system (Primarily for Third Party Warehouse transactions)
Access various customer EDI systems to schedule pickups
Lead and direct shipping/receiving team in absence of Logistics Supervisor
Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Continuous education and development initiative are expected as part of the personal development in this important role. Previous Forklift Operator Experience and Certification Required.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate in a positive manner resulting in associate support and development.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
