This position reports to Procurement Team Lead Your role and responsibilities Warehouse operations: Ensures various warehousing operations including packing and storage, replenishment, picking, loading and dispatching are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Maintains complete and accurate data in the ERP system. Quality material: Checks quality of incoming goods for storage. Suppliers/carriers: Ensures daily contact with suppliers. Inventory control: Participates in regular inventory control processes. Qualifications for the role
- Ensuring received inventory is assigned & moved to its proper area in the factory
- Provide training and support to ABB AH personnel on systems and processes related to inventory
- Plan, establish schedules and assign work, considering requirements and priorities in the inventory department to support inventory control operations.
- Utilize most effective equipment, considering skills of staff, to cost-effectively achieve objectives while concurrently implementing efforts to continuously improve performance. Monitor activities and initiate actions to eliminate problems, ensure that employees are properly trained and work is performed in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Resolve semi-complex technical or human resource issues, and work with management and human re-source representatives to resolve more complex issues.
- Maintain awareness of new developments and technologies. Review resource capabilities, methods and processes, and make recommendations regarding feasibility of utilizing alternative approaches, modi-fying or replacing resources to reduce costs or improve quality.
- Provide guidance and training and ensure fair and equitable treatment of staff.
- Manage the daily cycle count operations and develop associated recommendations.
- Drive high standards for safety and housekeeping and assure compliance with all State and Local laws and regulations
