STARTING SALARY: $67,200-$72,000

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands-on position. This position is expected to lead by example and is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation. The Warehouse Supervisor must be familiar with all positions in the warehouse to help out when necessary to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and all work is completed efficiently and on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide all aspects of leadership for warehouse employees. Personnel responsibilities include, but are not limited to: shift scheduling, maintaining employee motivation and morale, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, attendance monitoring and disciplinary action where appropriate.
  • Operational responsibilities include, but are not limited to: inventory management, shift start meetings, warehouse housekeeping, research/resolve shipping errors and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead the team in all aspects of promoting the Company safety program immediately identifying and eliminating risks to drive safe working habits and behaviors.
  • Assist with accident investigations as needed.
  • Ensure full compliance with all OSHA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
  • Work jointly with production, customer service, and distribution to ensure external customer order fulfillment requirements are met accurately and on time.
  • Maintain solid customer satisfaction levels relating to quality, accuracy of loads and on-time delivery, while ensuring the highest level of operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain an open dialogue and communicate effectively with Manager, shift lead person, and employees to ensure that work in warehouse is completed efficiently, on time, and with a minimum of errors.
  • Follow the chain-of-command and documentation in all matters requiring supervisory involvement.
  • Assist with training and integrating of new employees to the department.
  • Be familiar with all jobs performed in the department and assist with overseeing that daily goals/schedules are successfully met.
  • Flexible to vary work shifts dependent upon business and staffing needs.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma - College Degree Preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the Warehouse Department or related area is desirable.
  • Basic computer skills essential.
  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally, and to positively coach and motivate others.
  • Strong knowledge of all facets of the warehouse operation.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of the department and the ability to receive direction and organize work and staffing schedules.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift of 6 pm - 6 am.
