**Description**

*Position at Michigan CAT*

Objective:

The position objective of a Warehouse Swing is to be the face of Michigan CAT to those customers needing parts for their equipment. The successful candidate would process parts orders in a timely manner to provide quality and speedy service.

Responsibilities:

* Pick and pack orders

* Manage stocks/inventory

* Receive and inspect remanufactured parts

* Accept and process any parts returns

* Managing the shipping and receiving, including the planning of routes of shipment

* Advise customers on products, any updates and any policies, procedures and programs as necessary - Operate warehouse equipment (hose machine, forklifts)

* Maintain a clean working area as per Michigan CAT policies

* Enter customer and shop orders during peak periods

Qualifications:

* Minimum completion of High School Diploma

* Previous experience of 2-3 years working in a parts/stocks department within a retail organization

* Strong customer support and communication skills to work face to face with customers and internal staff

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Ability to navigate stock management software

Nice to have:

* Formal training/certification in operation of forklift
