Warehouse Technician - Encore Fire Protection : Job Details

Encore Fire Protection is an industry leading service and installation company serving all of Northeast. With a broad array of integrated fire alarm, fire sprinkler and suppression system solutions, Encores continued success and growth has created a need for a Warehouse Technician in our Pawtucket, RI warehouse.

Duties include:

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining the portable fire equipment and extinguishers
• Learning and understanding systems testing and inspections
• Ability to identify code and non code conformance issues
• Maintain inventory databases using Excel
• Pulling and preparing orders for delivery to job sites
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times
• Assist Drivers with deliveries as needed

Requirements:

In this position, as with most in our organization, the primary requirement is a can do attitude and willingness to work hard. However there are a few non-negotiable requirements that will help someone to excel in this position:

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• General working knowledge and comfort using the computer; specifically email and Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to learn new technology as required
• Knowledge and experience using hand tools
