Our products include milk, flavored milk, yogurt, dip, sour cream, cottage cheese, Italian cheese, and ice cream mix marketed under the Upstate Farms®, Bison®, Milk for Life®, and Intense Milk® brands.The CDL Operator is responsible for trailer movements on and off property in support of O-At-Ka operations. They will inspect trailer conditions before and after movements, make sure doors are secure and sealed if appropriate, and report any issues or damage that occur during the course of operations. The CDL Operator will also inspect and communicate any issues regarding the O-At-Ka yard truck and ensure it is ready for safe operation. When not operating the yard truck to move trailers, the CDL Operator will support internal warehouse operations as needed.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete trailer movements in support of O-At-Ka operations
  • Inspect trailers as they are handled to ensure compliance with O-At-Ka standards
  • Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections on truck to conform to DOT regulations and company policy
  • Report any damage to company owned or partner equipment
  • Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours
  • Support internal WH Operations when not completing yard movements
  • Must follow all SOP procedures and complete required documentation/checklists. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve products, services, or processes
  • Follow all Safety requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, DOT regulations and assist in maintaining SQF guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Education Required:
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills - Required:
  • Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
  • Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles.
Work Environment:
  • This job requires work inside and outside a warehouse and production environment. It can be exposed to excessive heat, cold, and noise. Assigned hours vary depending on the operations, and weekend work could be required.

  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Must be able to work independently
Pay: $27.32 per hour* *The hourly rate as indicated in the CBA.The posted pay rate reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
