A Brief OverviewThe Manager of Quality Regulatory Analytics will be responsible for planning, developing and executing clinical, regulatory and public measurement program and providing data analysis expertise to enterprise quality and safety related activities designed to improve patient outcomes, ensure regulatory/accreditation compliance, enhance financial performance and assist departments to achieve/maintain the operational attributes of high-reliability organizations.
What you will do- Oversee the administration of the Vizient Clinical Data Base and Press Ganey Reporting System, including data exports to select organizations (PSOs) and lead quality data abstraction.
- Responsible for conceptualizing data visualization, collaboration with end users to develop specifications for data to meet reporting/analysis needs and conducting/overseeing analysis and data management.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for quality and safety information systems, and sharing administration and reporting from the ROH event reporting system.
- Performs ongoing surveillance of clinical and patient safety event data to identify opportunities for improved patient outcomes and trends indicating (potential) operational/clinical issues
- Ongoing Professional Peer Evaluation (OPPE) data management
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and IT/Business Intelligence to develop strategies and provide analysis to address quality and patient safety goals.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient, department and/or hospital information. Adheres to established department and organization policies (i.e., HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance Policies) for any purpose
- Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements. Responds to problems/opportunities to improve work environment and participates in unit based performance improvement activities which includes committees, monitoring and follow-up.
- Performs special projects and other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in related Healthcare Profession Required and
- Master's Degree Preferred
- CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Upon Hire Preferred and
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; Black Belt certified Upon Hire Preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in Healthcare/Clinical setting including at least three years in position of progressive responsibility. Required and
- Minimum 3 years experience direct experience with quality and regulatory/accreditation affairs or Healthcare Data Analytics Required
