Warehouse Worker - Rock-It Cargo : Job Details

Rock-It Cargo is the premier freight forwarder for all live events, and works hand-in-hand with clients to make the greatest shows and events possible across the world. The full-time Warehouse Workerwill work from our Linden, New Jersey office, and assist the Rock-It Cargo Central Operations team. As a team-member the ideal candidate will have a great opportunity to learn about project-based logistics and operations with room to grow within the company. We are looking to welcome someone with a bright and quick disposition to the Rock-it Cargo team. Responsibilities:

• Accepting and processing incoming materials
• Packing, wrapping, labeling and/or shipping orders
• Managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in warehouse
• Loading and unloading trucks/ocean containers
• Building and breaking down skids/airline pallets
• Maintain shipping and receiving logs

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience
• Comfort with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and basic computer knowledge
• Strong prioritization, planning, and time management skills
• Sharp attention to detail and ability to proactively problem solve
• Excellent communication skills
• Must possess valid identification, preferably a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Must be able to operate forklift and plastic bander
• Must wear protective gear and steel-toed shoes
• Ability to pass a security background check
