Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionCurrently seeking a warehouse worker to handle picking within the warehouse. The product can include furniture, washers, dryers, mattresses, refrigerators, and any other household items.DAILY BASIS: - Unloading and loading trucks. - Picking orders as well as doing some shipping.Hard Skills1 year of distribution/warehouse/manufacturing experience1 year of using an RF scan gunUsing a scan gunPulling orders from within the warehouseJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Westfield, Massachusetts.Work EnvironmentThe fulfillment center is 140,000 square feet with about 10 employees in the warehouse. The dress code is casual, allowing for jeans, sweatshirts, and shorts when warm. The positions are open because all positions were moved to day shift and third shift was eliminated.SELLING POINTS: 1. They have never laid off. 2. When candidates go permanent, the company will pay for additional training. 3. They promote from within; supervisors started as warehouse associates.SCHEDULE: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday; 7:00 am-3:30 pm.
