Job Description: Warehouse Labor Worker (Aerosol Manufacturing Plant/Warehouse)

Position Title: Warehouse Labor WorkerLocation: Ecotec Manufacturing Warehouse: 312 SW 7th Avenue, Okeechobee, FL 34974Department: Warehouse OperationsReports To: Warehouse Manager

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm

Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Labor Worker will be responsible for performing various tasks in the warehouse, including handling, moving, and storing materials. This role requires teamwork, safety consciousness, adaptability, and the ability to lift heavy items. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, efficient, and willing to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet daily production and shipment goals.
• Safety Practices: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Adaptability: Adjust to various working conditions and environments within the warehouse and plant.
• Heavy Lifting: Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Efficiency: Maintain efficient working habits to optimize productivity and workflow.
• Self-Motivation: Take initiative to complete tasks without constant supervision.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the workday to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Continuous Learning: Show a willingness to learn new processes, procedures, and equipment operation.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
