We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a lift truck to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise. Your role is crucial in ensuring the efficient flow of products within the warehouse.Duties:- Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse- Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other heavy equipment- Stack and organize products in designated areas- Perform routine maintenance on the forklift and other equipment- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment- Assist with inventory control by accurately counting and recording products- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor and team members to meet production goals- Utilize warehouse management system to track inventory and complete tasksExperience:- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center setting- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, specifically forklifts- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment- Familiarity with order picking processes and procedures- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as requiredSkills:- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness- Attention to detail to ensure accurate product placement and inventory counts- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standardsIf you have experience as a Forklift Operator and are looking for an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic warehouse team, we encourage you to apply.
