We are looking for a bike enthusiast with technical experience, whether that be in a bike shop or working on your own bike. The Warranty Associate assists the Warranty Lead with communicating with vendors and customers about warranty claims. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicates with customers regarding their warranty claims.
- Manages and monitors the various stages of a warranty claim, taking the necessary action to close-out the claim.
- Regularly communicates with customers and vendors regarding claims using email, phone, and chat feature.
- Physically & virtually moves inventory to demo/warranty/destroy warehouse.
- Ability to assist in repairing bikes.
- Collaborates with vendors and customers to arrange return/repair/warranty work.
- Collaborates with various departments to ensure completion of warranty claims while projecting teamwork to achieve the goals with Operations/Service Department.
- Maintains product in appropriate system allocation within Microsoft D365.
- Receive and send repaired/replaced goods to customers.
- Provides an environment of support and teamwork to achieve common goals within the Operations Department
- Other tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrates a strong typing efficiency.
- Effectively communicates by email.
- Knowledge of bikes and bike service skills (wheel building/truing, suspension service repairs, familiarity with e-bike diagnostic programs) is a plus.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work well with others or individually.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or receiving environment is preferred but not required.
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and inventory management software.
