Craft Your Career with Brasscraft Manufacturing Company!PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* Lift baskets, tubs, pallets on an indoor surface* Wash, Weigh and Box product from machine shop* Clean and perform daily and monthly maintenance on central weigh equipment* Run bowls, shakers and retina to sort product* Obtain certification to operate forklift* Operate annealing ovens* Check soap concentration in parts washer to maintain optimal chemistry* Obtain training and understand procedures for control of hazardous waste* Perform daily inventory cycle count* Perform daily crosschecks of production input* Keep inventory of supplies and enter purchase orders as necessary for central weigh area* Assist in monthly brass rod inventory* Sweep and mop area at end of shift to maintain clean work environment* Communicate with supervision to set priorities* Perform minor maintenance on equipment and assist maintenance in major repairs* Identify visual quality defects on product* Ability to work off shifts as needed to support demand* Maintains work area per the company's visual workplace management system (5-S) guidelines* Complies with company policies; work rules; safety requirements; quality standards; and applicable local, state, and federal legislation* Performs other duties as needed and assignedESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:* Must maintain good safety practices, and good organizational skills.* Team oriented, works well with others.* Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.* Basic computer proficiency* Able to use computer to input data* Self-directed* Good attendance and work record* Able to perform repetitive motions with both arms and hands.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:* High attention to detail.* Good basic math skills* Good time management skills.Company: BrassCraft ManufacturingShift 2 (United States of America)Full timeHiring Range: $10.27 - $28.50Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.Brasscraft (the Company ) is an equal opportunity employer and we want to have the best available persons in every job.
