Please note, this is a Part Time Position - 32 Hours Biweekly, and requires bi-weekly and holiday rotation.

Safely handles and processes, according to all Environmental regulations regulated medical waste, municipal solid waste (MSW) and recycling.

Must identify all hospital waste streams in order to legally process it. Coordinates waste collection schedule with housekeepers assigned to specific areas. Operates specific waste and recycling equipment. Interacts with co-workers, visitors and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Education/Training Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent or 3 yearsrsquo; experience required
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Ability to problem solve, ability to understand and explain job expectations and duties
• Exhibits a kind, friendly manner in communication with others, and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• HS Diploma or equivalent or 3 yearsrsquo; experience required.

Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University.
