Water Treatment Plant Technician-Tampa Location

Monitor the water treatment facility's performance to ensure effective treatment and pumping of the water supply

Primarily outside position

2nd shift 4p-11p and some Saturdays 12-5

• Make adjustments to the treatment process or pumping as required, in compliance with all rules, regulations and the facility's standard operating procedures
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive operation and maintenance records
• Collect samples and perform routine physical and chemical analyses on water
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and assist the maintenance staff as necessary, with major or unusual maintenance tasks
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures
• Maintain the highest of ethical and SAFETY standards at all times
• Job Type: Full-time

• Possess strong math and computer skills
• Understand how to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Valid Driver's License
• Pass Drug Screening, Physical and Background Check
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• some climbing, lifting, bending, pulling and pushing may be required
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
