Job DetailsGeneral Job Responsibilities:Assess available projects in determining whether or not the project will generate a large enough margin to warrant spending time submitting a proposal.Solicit subcontractors and prepare subcontractor scope packages for biddingNegotiate pricing and terms with general contractors to ensure adherence with company pricing guidelinesComplete all cost proposals ensuring a detailed and accurate estimate.Build estimate including sub/self-perform analysis itemsCollaborate with the operations and finance group to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposalsGeneral Qualifications:Associate or Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred but not required.Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience with any of the following types of projects: underground utilities, wastewater/stormwater collection systems,Ability to prepare detailed, accurate estimatesInterested in hearing more?
