Wastewater Specialist - PinPoint : Job Details

TalentLogistix is immediately hiring a Wastewater Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with a leading Food & Beverage distributor in the Paw Paw, MI area. Pay Rate: $30-35/hr (depending on experience) Location: Paw Paw, MIWork Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 7pm-7am (Wednesday is a half day)Job Scope: * Operate wastewater treatment and associated equipment* Manage wastewater operations in an environmentally responsible manner* Resolve minor equipment technical issues* Monitor storm water basins and outside storage areas* Maintain equipment and area cleanliness to ensure compliance with all GMP standards.* Perform preventative maintenance duties* Maintain accurate records and logs* Conduct wastewater sampling and analyses* Generate work orders* Troubleshoot and correct problems during equipment operation.Job RequirementsQualifications/Requirements: * High School diploma or GED required.* 1 year recent wastewater experience.* Prior production / manufacturing experience preferred.* Anaerobic and Aerobic experience preferred.* Ability to pay attention to detail.* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.* Ability to read and understand equipment operations manuals, basic electrical and mechanical drawings, and to perform minor maintenance tasks (after training) as related to wastewater equipment.
