Water Maintenance Worker - City of South Jordan, UT : Job Details

CONTRIBUTE TO THE MAINTENANCE OF IMPORTANT CITY INFRASTRUCTURE! $22.87-$32.94/hr DOQ

Work with a fun and engaging team to ensure safe and clean drinking water and irrigation for South Jordan City. The City will provide time, training, and cover costs for employee to obtain qualifications and experience. New employee will have the opportunity to be trained and certified in operating the following equipment; backhoe, 10-wheeler, skid steer, excavator, hydro-vac, loader, and snow plow trucks. New employees will learn how to read water meters, repair fire hydrants and water main lines, monitor the water distribution system on SCADA, and learn proper water and pump operation and maintenance.

Starting pay is based on current qualifications/certifications and service credit is provided for years of related job experience with qualifying past employers. Qualifications

Graduation from High School or G.E.D.

Special Requirements

Valid Utah Class A Commercial Driver License or obtain within six (6) months of employment.
