Role Description

This is a contract Water Mitigation Technician role based in the Des Moines metropolitan area, IA. As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for handling emergency water mitigation services, assessing water damage, implementing mitigation plans, and restoring properties to their pre-damaged condition.

Qualifications

• Experience in water damage restoration, mitigation, or related field
• Knowledge of water extraction, drying techniques, and restoration equipment
• Understanding of moisture control and mold remediation
• Capability to work in emergency situations and follow safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments
• Certifications in water damage restoration are a plus

Hours

Currently, this position is part-time as we are in the early stages of business development. There is potential for this role to transition to full-time as the company grows. Flexible evening hours are available, providing the opportunity to balance this role with other employment if desired.
