Water Restoration TechnicianJob Description: ServiceMaster by ERP is calling all self-motivated Water Damage Technicians to apply to join our amazing team full-time! The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM with some weekends and on-call night shifts. Perform inspections and complete tasks for Water Restoration jobs to ensure completion of demolition, drying, and various restoration activities (including monitoring and moving equipment). Prepare and review documents, scope notes, sketch, take photos according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies. For immediate consideration you may call 951-###-#### Job ResponsibilitiesEnsures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for jobFast response to emergency water/fire damage claims and other restoration-related activitiesCompletes assigned inspection according to company processesPerforms water mitigation to include: water extraction, pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, light construction and demolition as directed by supervisorEnsures equipment, supplies, vehicles, tools, and products are properly handled. Set up and operate equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and air scrubbers.Performs daily monitoring and tasks on assigned water jobsCommunicates customer issues and daily job activities with supervisor and key company staffPrepares documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companiesPerform field restoration activities including demolition (removal of drywall, insulation, carpet and carpet pad, etc.) cleaning, emergency flood service, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning, pack out and storage and other specialized cleaning.Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for approval purposesUsing company software to update or review job information and thoroughly document work done (take photos and properly document all work).ExpectationsTeam OrientedDependable and ReliableProblems Solving & Strategic ThinkingIntegrity & ExcellenceMaintain exceptional communication between clients and peersCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs by lifting, pushing, and/or pullingExperience with using mobile software to enter dataIICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration not required but preferredBilingual is not required but preferredRequirementsHigh School or EquivalentMust have a valid driver's license with clean driving recordMust have WATER DAMAGE experienceExperience in the restoration or construction industryBenefitsPaid Time OffHoliday PayCompany Assets (Company Vehicle, Gas Card, Iphone)Competitive CompensationHourly Rate: $18 - $25 depending on experience / Overtime hours availableUniform Shirts, Hats, and Jacket are provided.
