Watershed Student Intern - Pace University : Job Details

DescriptionThe Department of Environmental Studies and Science is seeking two Watershed Interns. Interns will work in the Peekskill Hollow Brook or Pocantico River Watersheds, conducting a variety of watershed studies. They will be responsible for water sample collection, analysis, and data entry, as well as habitat assessments and community engagement. These are part-time positions with flexible scheduling.Position Duties/Responsibilities:

• Water sample collection,
• Water sample analysis,
• Field assessments,
• Developing outreach/educational materials for watershed work.

Requirements

• Applicants should have experience conducting environmental field work and water sampling/testing.
• Interns will need their own transportation to and from field sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills
