About the Wealth Management & Trust Associate Role:As a member of the DS Baker Advisors wealth management team, the primary role of the Wealth Management & Trust Associate (WMTA) is providing administrative and operational support to provide the best possible client experience.The WMTA will assist with account administration, operational functions, and relationship management of client accounts.The WMTA will demonstrate the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment and prioritize workload accordingly. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, courteous assistance to internal clients of Wealth Management. Support DS Baker Advisor Team in its relationships with clients, attorneys, accountants, members of the community and community organizations.
- Understand and comply with standard departmental practices of risk management, regulatory requirements, general trust policies, and sufficiency of documentation.
- Assume responsibility for carrying out tasks, many of which may be confidential or complex in nature. Complete entire task or project independently when possible.
- Perform a variety of services and administrative duties many of which may be confidential or complex in nature. These duties include:
- Scheduling meetings
- Initiate contact with clients on routine transactions, including ACH, Checks, Wires, Deposits, Transfers, etc.
- Review accounts for accuracy
- Initiating and/or recommending activity where necessary
- Opening and closing accounts
- Preparing annual account reviews
- Prepare and/or analyze various reports
- Facilitate trades and other investment activities
- Perform back-up responsibilities for other Associates
- Provide technical assistance and train others in their areas of expertise.
- Operational and administrative duties for investment and/or administrative functions
- Assist with continual process improvement
- Cross-train to ensure continuity of all administrative operational functions of the division
- Other duties as requested by the Operations Leadership including but not limited to; develop and/or update operating procedures, research, analysis, implementation of new processes or software, scheduling, preparation of client presentation materials, team projects, and functions to maintain continuity for our internal and external clients.

- Ability to apply logic and reasoning when carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Valid Driver License required.
