Overview: Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of the world's largest distributors of healthcare systems, medical supplies & pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Web Analytics Specialist.
Location: Irving, TX 75039
Duration: 12 months contract w/ possibility of extension or conversion to FTE role

- Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm Central Time preferred but can be flexible.
- Largely remote role, quarterly in-person meetings at Las Colinas (if the person needs an office location, then they are welcome to work at Las Colinas).
- This is a contract-to-hire role.
Description:
- Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented web technologist and analytics professional who also has a knack for software development and business insights.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize SQL (Snowflake, Azure, BigQuery) to extract and manipulate data.
- Develop and maintain reports and visualizations for business users using tools such as Power BI and Looker Studio.
- Leverage Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Looker Studio to gather and interpret web and marketing data.
- Software Development:
- Apply basic backend programming skills (e.g., Python) to support data-related projects.
- Understand and work with HTML and CSS for front-end development tasks.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate with project managers to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
- Content Management and Web Development:
- Manage and update content on CMS platforms, with a preference for WordPress experience preferred.
- Ensure web content is optimized and functions correctly.
- Machine Learning and AI: (Gain experience with Language Learning Models (LLMs) and contribute to projects involving machine learning).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- They must have 3 or more years using web analytics platforms and modern development/coding experience (ex. JavaScript, PHP).
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in data science, business analytics, or software development.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Azure, or BigQuery.
- Experience with reporting and visualization tools like Power BI and Looker Studio.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Looker Studio.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic web development (HTML/CSS).
- Basic knowledge of backend languages, particularly Python.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Experience with JavaScript and WordPress is preferred.
- Some exposure to Language Learning Models (LLMs) and a willingness to learn more.
