The Operations Manager Opportunity: We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy design manager to lead our in-house web design team. The ideal candidate has a passion for effective employee engagement, strategy implementation, and team building. This person will be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of all website builds for new and existing clients. Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership
  • Stay informed on web accessibility requirements and industry changes to inform decision-making.
  • Set clear goals and provide the tools and support for the team to succeed.
  • Identify and eliminate operational roadblocks preventing team success.
  • Lead by example with integrity and ethical behavior.
Team Management
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing web design team.
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive work environment.
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and training to enhance skills.
  • Address performance issues with coaching and support.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure our delivered websites are easy to use and conform to UX/UI best practices.
  • Conduct monthly audits to evaluate delivered website designs for content accuracy and design quality.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance leadership to improve quality checks and rectify routine designer errors.
Performance Reporting
  • Present regular performance reports, including metrics, achievements, and recommendations.
  • Provide regular insights into web design trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in web design, digital design, UX/UI or a related field.
  • 4+ years of web design experience with a proven track record of driving marketing results.
  • Detail-oriented and exhibit exceptional organizational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of front-end and scripting languages (HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery)
  • Photoshop or related Adobe Creative Suite programs are required
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • Experience with various CMS (Duda, Squarespace, WordPress).
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
