Web Developer/ Programmer - Townley Engineering & Manufacturing : Job Details

Founded in 1963, Townley Engineering & Manufacturing is a rapidly growing, American-made solutions expert for wear and abrasion problems found in the mining, dredging, and power industries. We have an opportunity for an onsite Web Developer/ Programmer that will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and existing applications. Other responsibilities include:

• Configure, monitor, and maintain web servers to ensure availability and security
• Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL databases to ensure high performance and reliability
• Research, construct, develop, and test computer application software or systems
• Maintain computer applications software and systems and debug as problems arise
• Implement best practices and processes across the software development lifecycle
• Create, maintain, and modify documentation for all relevant projects
• Designing and implementing Restful API's and create web server in Python

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in computer science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Developer
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong Python experience
• Ability to use one or more development language (.NET. C++, C#, VB, Javascript, etc.)
• Expertise writing and understanding SQL scripts (MS SQL Server is a plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Previous API development a plus
