**This position requires Saturday & Sunday availability, 7:30am - 4:00pm**

**POSITION SUMMARY**

The Concierge is the welcoming face of the community, providing excellent Customer Service, with an attention to detail. The Concierge is responsible for greeting guests, residents, tours, and vendors, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages, providing information of a general nature, and assisting in the operation of the community in a variety of ways.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required.

* Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient.

* Printing documents for various departments as needed.

* Greets residents, visitors, vendors & delivery persons. Answers inquiries and gives directions.

* Assists with daily operations of the Business Office, as assigned.

* Assists other Department Heads with a variety of small projects such as mailers, collating, email blasts, inviting applicants for interviews, etc.

* Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat, organized, and sanitary.

* Receives packages for the community and ensures residents & staff are notified of their delivery.

* Creates, edits and maintains forms for various purposes in the community.

* Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures.

* Collects questionnaires for COVID health screenings and takes temperatures (no direct contact).

* Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Minimum education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), come college preferred.

* One+ year(s) customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Some experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

* Experience as an Administrative Assistant would be a bonus.

* Must be articulate and well spoken (using proper English), in both speaking and writing.

* A team player, but capable of independent problem solving and critical thinking.

* Dependable and reliable; always follows through on tasks.

* Good at multi-tasking and prioritizing.

* Interested in working with a senior population.

* Pays attention to detail.
