Coordinates changes to schedule and overtime based on acuity, staffing grid and Chief Nursing Officer's approval. Checks on patients frequently and reports any condition change to the Supervisor. Calls physicians for orders, makes pertinent charting entries, gives ordered medications and treatments, gives comprehensive nursing care plans, does patient teaching and follow-up, makes out reports and requisitions.
