Weekend Treatment Nurse Position Summary The Weekend Treatment Nurse focuses on prevention and healing of pressure ulcers. Their role also includes the following responsibilities: • Focuses on the community's wound care program, working with the wound care physician. • Oversee resident care related to the prevention and healing of pressure ulcers. • Provide continuing education of wound care to our staff and families. • Participate in QAPI and execute wound care assessments. • Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing. • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications. Weekend Treatment Nurse Requirements • Active LPN or RN license in the applicable state • 3 years nursing experience • Completed Infection Control training.
