You will also examine commodities that are packaged, sold, or available for sale based on weight, measure, or count. Additionally, you will oversee the inspections conducted by Certified Examiners of Weights and Measures and investigate claims of fraud and misconduct, taking enforcement measures as required. Your responsibilities will be carried out in Region 7, encompassing Schuylkill, Berks, Northampton, Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware, and Chester counties.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description ( .Work Schedule and Additional Information:+ Full-time employment+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.+ This position will be home-headquartered if applicant lives in Lehigh County. If applicant does not live in Lehigh County, the assigned state vehicle must be parked in Lehigh County and the work day will start at 8:00 AM at the location of the assigned state vehicle.+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.+ You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
