Job Title: Weld Quality InspectorShift: 6am-2:30pmJob DescriptionThe role of the quality control inspector is to ensure all fabricated steel products meet company and client standards for quality, safety, and compliance before the product is shipped to the customer.ResponsibilitiesPerform dimensional and visual inspections on fabricated components.Ensure all welds meet specified standards.Confirm compliance with project blueprints, specifications, and industry codes.Record and maintain inspection reports for all completed work.Identify non-conformities and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.Approve finished products for shipping.Work with production teams to address quality issues.Provide feedback to fabricators and welders to improve outcomes.Ensure adherence to safety protocols in inspection processes.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry quality standards (e.g., AWS, ASTM).Essential SkillsBasic understanding of steel fabrication processes, including welding and assembly.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.2+ years experience reading blueprints.2+ years experience working in quality control and utilizing different quality inspection instruments.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00• Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Grove City,OH.Application DeadlineThis position will be accepting applications until Dec 10, 2024.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
