The establishment of manufacturing cells for select customers has created many cross functional teams within buildings. Lean Six Sigma Black Belts and Green Belts on staff lead the company in lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.1st Shift (7:00AM-3:00PM)2nd Shift (3:00PM to 11:00PM) *Comes with a $2.00 Shift Differential. Responsible for fitting and welding of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel parts using MIG and/or TIG process. The work is repetitive in nature and requires a strong sense of details. Responsibility to perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by your supervisor may be required.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand.
• Read & interpret blueprints and or drawings to determine the specific welding required
• MIG or TIG weld Steel, Aluminum or stainless steel
• Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards
• Must wear PPE
• Welding Helmet
• Welding Gloves
• Must be able to use precision measuring tool to inspect grooves and angles
• Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment.
• Follow company rules and policies
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
• Follow safety rules and quality standards
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Must have the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
• Must be able to obtain good penetration at all angles.
• Must show up at work on time and as scheduled.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience required
• Experience with MIG or TIG welding required
• Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel preferred
• Current & valid certification a plus
• Ability to read blue prints
• Basic math skills

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to stand, sit, bend and kneel without difficulty
• Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push 50lbs
• Exposure to loud noises
• Exposure to heat and fumes
• Working in the presence of fork trucks and other manufacturing machinery
