Welder A- Fabricator - Carver Companies : Job Details

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator who possesses a strong background in welding and fabrication. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding tasks especially working on Heavy Equipment. Responsibilities:

Reading Blueprints: Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise welding.

Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing welding tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functionality.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including engineers, fabricators, and project managers, to achieve project goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, with a strong emphasis on welding.

Experience working on heavy equipment a plus

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Strong commitment to safety practices and guidelines in a workshop environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.

Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
