Job Title: Welder and FabricatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. The role involves welding on pressure vessels using Mig, Tig, and Fluxcore techniques. You will need to be familiar with ASME code, weld symbols, and blueprints. This position requires the ability to crawl into pipes when welding and candidates must be comfortable working in a metal fabrication environment.Hard SkillsMig weldingTig weldingFluxcore weldingASME code knowledgeReading weld symbolsReading blueprintsSoft SkillsFlexibilityAdaptabilityAttention to detailProblem-solving skillsJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Charlotte, North Carolina.Work EnvironmentThis is a metal fabrication environment where temperatures can be extreme - hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees must be accustomed to these conditions. The peak seasons are in July and December, with employees working 50 hours per week during these times. Regular work hours are 6am - 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 6am - 2pm on Fridays. The position will initially train on day shifts for 6-8 weeks before transitioning to night shifts from 5:30pm-6am, with an additional $2/hr premium pay. This schedule includes four 12-hour shifts and one 7-hour shift on Friday, with optional 12-hour shifts on Fridays based on workload. Must be open to working on Saturdays occasionally.
