This is a Night Shift shop welding position. Candidates must be proficient Mig (GMAW) welders in the 6G position. Your time will be spent working on stainless steel and carbon pipe ranging from schedule 40 - 160 XX heavy wall. There's no SMAW/Stick welding for this assignment. Welder's will be teamed up with Pipe Fitters that will fit up, bevel/tack weld the piping. All piping is being fabricated to specification then shipped to the field for final installation. You must bring your own basic tools of the trade, including hood, appropriate clothing, and work boots. You may be required to pass a pre-employment drug and background check upon arrival. Weld test will be on 4 carbon steel pipe in 6g position, using Tig root and hot pass, Mig fill and cap; and it will be xray tested. You are able to work while waiting on xray results, and will be compensated for successful completion.
