Welder - The Heico Companies, LLC. : Job Details

Perform welding operations on Spartan sewer cable and other assemblies using both mig and arc welding processes. Regulate current, voltage, and wire feed to obtain proper fusion. Use fixed gauges to check weld for proper size. Box cable as needed. Common tools used are cut-off saws, grinders, and various other hand tools. Report all unusual conditions or defective materials to your supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Observe all safety regulations. Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion. The Welder works a minimum of 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Saturdays are worked as needed. Work is performed indoors. Experience:

• at least one year of welding experience
• capability of standing all day, twisting or bending regularly, and lifting up to fifty pounds, unassisted, regularly
• the ability to retain knowledge and the desire to learn
• experience using hand tools such as die grinder, hand grinder, hammer, and chisel
