Job Description :

Adecco is currently seeking Welder-MIG/TIG Operators, Rochester, NY. To be considered for this Welder-MIG/TIG position, candidates must have a minimum of 2-years previous direct experience in manufacturing environment. The Welder-MIG/TIG Operator will use welding equipment to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities. You will work with precision, adhering to safety guidelines to ensure the integrity of welds and the longevity of the products you work on.

**Responsibilities of the Welder-MIG/TIG Operator:**

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements).

Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).

Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.

Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.

Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.

Refers to production Manufacturing Process Control Document (MPCD) for job specifics.

Sets up and runs jobs as required. Resolves problems with job as required.

Assists in the resolution of production, quality, and engineering issues.

Ensures machines are maintained per safety and quality standards.

Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager.

**Requirements of the Welder-MIG/TIG Operator:**

Proven experience as a Welder (experience with [specific welding type, e.g., MIG, TIG] is preferred).

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Knowledge of welding safety and basic troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in using welding equipment and hand tools (e.g., grinders).

Strong attention to detail and precision.

Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

High school diploma or GED; One year certificate from college or technical school preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
