Position: Welder Location/s: Ashland, VA Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/Hour (Depending on Experience) Shift: 1st Shift Duration: Full-Time, Contract to Hire Duties / Responsibilities:

- Read and comprehend engineering drawings and process specifications required to fabricate high tolerance, complex parts.
- Safely and accurately operate welding and metal forming equipment to produce parts in accordance with drawing and specification requirements, and safe operating procedures.
- Meet targets for safety, quality, on time delivery, productivity, and cost.
- Produce and verify work according to production schedule and specified requirements.
- Report production output accurately.
- Ensure work areas are neat and organized.
- Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Experience in Fluxcore MIG welding
- Must be able to pass a flat 1G weld test but would prefer 3G welding
- Appropriate judgment and common sense in decision making
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Able to read and understand inspection equipment (micrometers, rulers, calipers)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic math skills are essential
- Good communication skills
- Dependability, detail orientation
