Quality is our number one goal.RESPONSIBILITIES:* Welding Equipment & Procedures: Operate a variety of welding equipment & follow weld procedures to structure builds or parts assigned with efficiency & precision.* Prints & Drawings: Read prints & drawings with accuracy.* Plan Layout: Take & read measurements to plan layout & procedures.* Welding Requirements: Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. Set up components for welding according to specifications.* Angle Grinders: Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.* Components: Align components using calipers, rulers etc. & clamp pieces. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).* Repair: Repair machinery & other components by welding pieces & filling gaps.* Inspecting for Flaws: Test and inspect welded surfaces & structure to discover flaws.* Safety & PPE: Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety & ensure the required PPE (personal protective equipment) is utilized.SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:* Proven experience as MIG & TIG welder with at least 5 year of experience.* Experience using a variety of welding equipment/procedures on a variety of metals (TIG, MIG).* Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, grinders, drills, etc.).* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.* Knowledge of figuring and using measurements and basic mathematic skills including but not limited to reading and converting fractions & decimals.* Knowledge of shop & machine safety standards and use of protective gear & clothing.* Competent in using potentially dangerous equipment. Follow safety precautions and comply with OSHA standards.* Strong attention to detail, ability to adapt, work as a team player, and hold true to the company's core values.* Possess a goal-driven attitude; desire to continue improving skills; and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.* Employee must be dependable and willing to working overtime hours.* Possess Overhead crane experience or certification; forklift certification; and other Professional Certifications.Physical Requirements:* Lift, carry, push and or pull 1 - 50 lbs. frequently.* Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.* Sit, stand and walk for 1 - 10 hours per day.* Ability to work in a 55 - 85-degree Fahrenheit work environment.* Wear a fit-tested respirator if required.* Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, hard-hat, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing.Apply NowBack to Careers
