Welding Technician - Automotive Parts Manufacturing - Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions : Job Details

An international automotive parts manufacturing company in the Findlay, Ohio area is currently searching for a motivated Welding Technician to join their facility. Training on all equipment and processes can be provided. This is a full-time, direct hire position with openings on multiple shifts available.Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.Welding Technician Responsibilities Include:Welding of automotive components, machine tools, and other industrial equipmentEquipment maintenance and troubleshooting as neededAssist engineers and management with welding / production process improvement and implementing new processes and machineryTracking of tool and material inventoryCreation of activity reports for upper managementMaintain safe and clean working spaceOther duties as assignedWelding Technician Requirements Include:High school diploma or GED requiredDemonstrated hands-on experience (including professional training, apprenticeships, etc.) in welding processes, such as Mig, Tig, Arc welding, etc., preferably in a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance documentsGood communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environmentStrong problem-solving skills and time management abilityThis position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.Direct applicants only.
