They customize, support, coordinate and measure nutrition, wellness and sustainability initiatives and provide nutrition education, training, communication and guidance for assigned accounts. The Wellness & Sustainability Manager works collaboratively with the onsite management team, including operations managers, chefs, retail, and marketing managers to promote and support corporate and client wellness and sustainability goals; and to ensure compliance with FDA nutrition labeling laws. The great things you will be doing: Establishes relationship and maintains partnership with client health and wellness program / initiatives designees; helps facilitate joint wellness and sustainability initiatives with client wellness teams; develops relationship with client sustainability team. Contributes to or participates in quarterly business reviews for assigned accounts.Develops mastery of R/A's wellness and sustainability goals, standards, initiatives, programs and resource materials for assigned location.Works closely with the on-site culinary and management team to oversee the allergen management program. Manages nutrition analysis for assigned account(s), utilizing Webtrition, our web-based application for menu planning, nutritional analysis, allergen management, and more. Ensures the culinary team, marketing, and FOH management can navigate the platform to produce necessary information like recipes, signage, and labels. Develops & presents materials for health fairs, lunch and learns, program launches, client meetings, caf wellness events, etc. Benchmarks best practices across assigned account.Assesses opportunities to use technology and marketing innovations to help drive wellbeing and sustainable practices including Webtrition, loyalty programs, dining websites, limited time offers and rewards initiatives. Creates action plans for implementation.Contributes to wellness and sustainability related social media efforts.Achieve and maintain building certifications like Fitwel and WELL, as it pertains to foodservice. Leads in-field implementation and on-going wellness and sustainability training for associates in assigned account.Acts as a resource, excluding medical nutrition therapy, for client, customer and R/A associate nutrition & sustainability questions and concerns.Ensures accuracy of all allergen and nutrition information posted as well as information posted on dining center websites, mobile ordering apps, and kiosks.Ensures food waste is tracked daily using client-approved platform. Identify storytelling opportunities and report out to sector sustainability stakeholder. Qualifications:Registered Dietitian -Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND) Certification and State Licensure, where applicable.Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or related field of study, Master of Science in Nutrition or a related field preferred.Desired 5+ years professional experience, preferably in culinary or food service settingExperience with managing food allergies in a foodservice setting. Serve-Safe certification required but can train once hired.Strong presentation and time management skills; advanced computer skills, management and leadership skills, advanced problem-solving skills and outstanding interpersonal skills.Familiarity with nutrition analysis software is preferred.
