They will provide direct patient care in all stages of an orthodontic appointment. Successful candidates will work in the Back Office and in our world-class lobbies engaging, entertaining, and caring for our patients.SCHEDULE: This position requires a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as business requires - including evenings and weekends.QUALIFICATIONS:Dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) experienceBilingual (Spanish) is preferredESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with Orthodontist in treating patient
• Instruct patient of elastic treatment
• Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures
• Taking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart
• Mixing amalgam, cement, and preparing impression materials
• Pouring, trimming, and polishing impression trays
• Assisting with bonding, banding, adjusting, and debonding orthodontic patients
• Placing and cementing bands
• Setting up orthodontic brackets and removing excess cement from brackets and bands
• Making retainers, bleaching trays, and impressions
• Providing excellent chairside assistance and anticipating next steps to stay in constant mental synchronization with the doctor
• Taking patient initial, progress, and debond photos
• Taking scans of patients for clear aligners or models
