- Lead, Inspire & Grow: Set the strategic direction for the team and inspire your Region Managers to reach new heights. Through coaching, development, and accountability, you'll ensure your teams are not just meeting but exceeding their sales targets.

Business Strategy & Execution
- Own the Sales Strategy: Drive the execution of the sales strategy for your region, ensuring alignment with our broader business objectives. Lead the development of sales plans, programs, and commissions that deliver results and enhance long-term growth.
- Maximize Resources: Oversee the budgeting and allocation of resources-people, inventory, funding, and initiatives-to optimize performance and drive continued success.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Evaluate performance metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure consistent growth and profitability.
Commercial Leadership
- Collaborative Growth: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure efficient and effective portfolio utilization.
- Representing the Region: Serve as a liaison between the Western Business Unit and other areas of the organization, helping to align efforts and optimize performance across the business.
- Lead Change: Drive change management initiatives, helping your team adapt to industry shifts while maintaining focus on achieving ambitious sales goals.
- Industry Leadership: Build and nurture relationships with key industry partners, consultants, and top customers. Act as the company's ambassador at industry events, ensuring our brand is represented with professionalism and integrity.

- Measure performance based on your team's ability to meet strategic goals, contributing to the overall success of the company.
- Maintain regular communication with senior leadership to align your region's performance with company objectives and to share insights on market trends.
QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management and leadership within the agriculture or seed industry.
Skills & Expertise
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills-able to inspire a team to achieve their best.
- Expertise in sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Deep knowledge of the seed corn industry, including market trends, research and development, and production practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Ability to manage complex customer relationships, including key accounts and industry influencers.
- A high level of adaptability and proven ability to lead through change.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
