DEPARTMENT: Wet PaintJOB TITLE: Wet Paint TraineeREPORTS TO: Shift Supervisor with the direction from the Team LeaderSHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 1st Shift Position (5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 3:00 pm) over the course of 5 days (40+ hours).STARTING PAY: $18.11 per hour with the ability to earn more.The Ideal Candidate will consistently demonstrate the following behaviors.* Trust, Respect, Integrity -- lives by and demonstrates these core values. Understands how what happens in the world affects us, our marketplace, and our competition.* Tenacious Advocacy -- Systematically seeks information on the Organization's and customer's wants and needs, and advocates for preferred outcomes.What You Will Be Responsible For:* Properly packaging finished product in accordance with customer specifications.* Attaches identification data onto article.* Records factors of damaged goods.* Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE).* Maintain a clean, clutter free workstation.* Able to participate in a collaborative environment.* Comply with safety policies and procedures.* Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards.* Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.Work Environment / Physical Demands:* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.* The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch.
