Competitive Pay and Benefits!We pay a starting wage of $19.50/hour for full-time Wheelchair Van Attendants.Lancaster EMS is currently recruiting Wheelchair Van Attendants.Wheelchair Van Attendants are responsible for the safe and professional transport of wheelchair bound, non-ambulatory individuals to and from physician offices, procedural appointments, outpatient centers or offices, and similar transportation requests. Attendants will also, on occasion, transport non-ambulatory individuals via wheelchair to scheduled appointments.Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional attitude, be flexible and self-motivated, utilize downtime efficiently, and provide a high quality experience in line with the Lancaster EMS mission and values.Salary is $18.50/hour. Benefits include: Medical/dental/vision, 176 hours of paid time off, 401k with partial employer match, short and long-term disability, uniform allowance, educational opportunities, and EMT school scholarships.To be considered, applicants must be over the age of 18, have a high school diploma or G.E.D., possess a valid PA driver's license, a clean driving record, and complete all applicable background clearances. One year of wheelchair van or para-transit experience is preferred.
