What will be your daily pursuit?:Your daily pursuit is providing our guests with the best and safest rafting experience possible!When does this adventure begin?:This role is posted for our spring/summer 2025 season! What will you do in this job?:Safely navigate oar/paddle rafts down Class I “ III riversWork positively with other team members to implement all aspects of a Glacier Raft Co trip in order to provide guests with a safe, meaningful, and memorable fishing experienceProvide risk management capability in remote/backcountry settingsProvide meaningful interpretation to our guests on natural and cultural history topics such as geology, flora and fauna, ecology, etc.Give effective and demonstrative safety talksEngage with our guests in a positive, friendly, and supportive mannerOffers assistance to guests and teammates where neededBe a utility player who can complete a variety of job dutiesWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:Previous whitewater guiding experience strongly preferredCompletion of GRC 6-day guide schoolCPR & First Aid Certification or Advanced Medical CertificationBe willing and able to work solo or as part of a teamBe organized with a great eye for detailBe kind to others and always bring your bestBe a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutionsBe helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mileBe relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve ballsBe ready to have fun!What will your work environment be like?:Beautiful.
